Close to restaurants, gas stations and grocery store. Beautiful views! Upon arrival, the front desk was very kind and accommodating. She was very polite and the lobby was very welcoming. We had been driving for 5 days, and this was by far the best stay. Blankets and linen super clean and fresh, beautiful accents and bathroom. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the towels soft and fluffy. Only 2 minor issues to note- the fridge is loud, the vent in the bathroom doesn't fit, and myself and kids both got our foot in. Minor things that didn't affect our sleep or view of the hotel. Wonderful stay, will be back.
We stayed here after an unexpected three sailing wait for BC Ferries. We found this hotel and booked it originally because the price was good. Front Desk staff were very friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable for all. We had a great experience here and will be back!
We had a great stay here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made check-in and our time at the hotel really pleasant. The entire place was spotless. Impressive how clean and well maintained it was. The price was excellent for what we got, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel has clearly been updated and renovated recently. It feels much newer and fresher than the pictures online suggest, so don’t let those put you off. Overall, a great value stay and we’d happily come back!
I stayed here on the way to Victoria and it was very good. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Customer service was good, and in particular Vishal was kind and helpful. A bit loud with the traffic and the footsteps in the hall and upstairs, but overall decent value.
Very nice and budget friendly hotel. So nice and clean. Staff is so friendly. They have good tie ups with local restaurants where you get discounts if you show a proof you staying at mountain view.
The MountainView Hotel in Merritt has been incredible since the moment I arrived. I spent 4 nights here recovering after surgery, having to backtrack further into BC to find an affordable place that was still clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I couldn’t have found a better spot. The rooms are spotless, the service is outstanding, and the owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Everything you might need is close by and the rates are unbelievably affordable. I can’t say enough about how accommodating and kind these folks are. Truly a hidden gem in Merritt
